A Cut Above !!

If you take a lot of pride in what you do and you don't like a finish product that look sloppy you definitely need try the Freud and Diablo blades and router bit lineup !!

You don't need to be a professional to enjoy great products that are reasonably priced !! As a carpenter I had to cut and drill through many materials like wood, metal, plastic, aluminium, concrete and even had to cut through nails and screws along the way !! Well it might surprise you, but Freud have a blade and drill bit  for any of theses material !! Obviously their main focus is anything that cut, but they also make a variety of heavy duty tools like routers, mixer drills, jigsaw and they even make sandpaper !! I can honestly tell you that there are no other blade that would even come close to compete with Freud !!

I've discovered theses blades for more that 7 years now and I haven't looked back since !! Since they started to be very popular, a lot of companies like Dewalt, Ridgid and Makita have tried to copy them but they just don't seem to get it !! Personally  I've even tried the priciest Ridgid titanium finish blade on my circular saw and I hated it !! The main problem is was that I paid more for a blade that seem to cut better for the first few cuts, but after an afternoon of ripping regular lumber and pine, the blade started to overheat and then started to cut like a low grade blade !! The only blade that came pretty close, considering the sale price, was the Dewalt, but again their carbide don't hold on when you hit screws !! Freud became the best because they've understood the flaws in the earliest saw blades, and brought solutions to the problems !! They started by making their blades thinner to reduce the friction, then added a really though Teflon coating on their blade that doesn't wear off !! They also have incorporated laser cut vents that actually act as stabilizers to stop the wiggle when the blade is overheating, providing a very smooth cut, and an incomparable finish !! The anti-kickback tooth design really work on these saw blades compare to the  "competition" !!

That company has really raised the bar in terms of quality of their products and they are still really well priced !! In my mind other tool manufacturers should look up to Freud, try their best to raise their quality level a notch and  maybe then they could get a shot at winning back people's confidence on the fine line to perfection !!
