Bumpy Start to a Perfect Day !!!
I know I'm probably fall offtrack today sharing this with you guy's, but I just had to get it off my chest !! Today my simple Architectural post install, finishing and painting turned started in a little bit of a nightmare !!
Instead of driving my Sierra to work today, I had to drive my pregnant wife to work and get her car, a 2010 Hyundai Tucson to the dealership where she bought it !!
After going back 3 times with a 52 000 km car about squealing noise in the rear brakes and sway bar knocking together you would think that they would have figured it out by now !! They replaced brake parts and shock mounts on our the last visits, but nothing as changed and the noises are still there driving us crazy !! Let's say that it doesn't look too promising for the future !!
Of course we where told that it had nothing to do with the vehicle, and that theses noises were also coming out of Toyota's and Honda's, that there vehicles where in fact just as go as any of their competitors !! But the reality his that I drove my previous Mazda 3 2004 like a construction truck before I bought my Sierra !! I had my share of problems including replacing the suspension, my wheel bearings and blowing the engine, but at least when a clunking sound was coming out of the trunk of that car after 146 000 km, it's because my shock where really busted !!
Being told that there is nothing that they can do about the noise in my brakes, after picking them apart for several times, is like me saying to a customer that the door I installed is at least closing and that the squeaking is normal !! To add to our disappointment, the other day me and my wife where watching a Hyndai commercial about their new entirely re-designed active arms suspension, that is so comfortable you won't even feel the road !! Yeah ..... They were talking about the same new Tucson, ...... our Tucson, I couldn't believe it, I should have video taped this commercial and brought it to them !! I don't actually need to feel the road when I drive that thing, because I can actually Hear it !!!!
