For me, the best cordless hammer drill must be very convenient and easier than a cord. The brushless hammer drill should be very light and has lots of power and battery life.

Well Dustin it also depends how Heavy Duty you want your cordless hammer drill to be because I personnaly own a Fuel M18 Hammerdrill and that tool has endless power and offers a 5 years warranty that's longer than any major brand out there including Makita, Bosch and Dewalt !! The only thing though is that it's not the lightest in its class since heavy duty drills have to be built with heavier components !! The new Makita heavy duty hammerdrill offers 1090 in/lbs of torque which is far more than my Fuel at 725 in.lbs and its also a little bit lighter !! If weight is one of the most important thing for you there is a new brushless compact hammerdrill made by Dewalt that offers a very decent torque and has a great feel and amazing battery life, but the only negative is that you definitely won't have a workhorse like the Fuel and the Makita !!
