Weather is not always on our side and it can definitely cause some damage to our house !!
About a week ago I had to climb up on my roof to repair 6 full sheets of shingles because of wind damage !! We had some 100 km/h winds and it ripped a bunch of shingles off the upper portion of my front roof !!
I needed to climb up there and I went to buy that kit safety kit to the local hardware store that also include a removable rafter ring thinking that it was around $100 some dollars, but when I saw that it was $199 I decided to go look at other options !!
I found that website that offers the same type of harness for around $90 !! The other thing that I liked about that site is that you can also buy everything separately, even the rafter attachment, thing that I couldn't buy separately at my local hardware store !! This would then allow me to leave one permanently on top of my roof and I could buy another one to bring with me on the job site !!
